In-State Rates Lodging and M&IE Rates

The following table provides guidelines for Lodging, Meals, and Incidental Expenses that are allowable to the In-State traveler for reimbursement. If neither the city nor the county is listed, the location is a standard destination with a rate of $70 for lodging and $39 for meals and incidental expenses (M&IE).

Out of State Lodging and M&IE Rates

(48 Contiguous United States, excluding Virginia)

The following table provides guidelines for Lodging, Meals, and Incidental Expenses that are allowable to the Out of State traveler for reimbursement (see Out-Of-Country for Hawaii and Alaska). If neither the city nor the county is listed, the location is a standard destination with a rate of $88 for lodging and $44 for meals and incidental expenses (M&IE). Individual meal amounts are at the end of this procedure. In-State rates are shown in the table above.
